First, let me say I have tried Birria Tacos at many places in San Antonio and NONE of them compared to El Bracero. Their Birria tacos were the BEST I have found so far. The meat is moist and tender and they put a good amount of cheese and the corn tortillas were perfectly fried. The crispy tacos were very good as well. The salsa was good and had a little kick, which I enjoy. Our server Rey, was absolutely amazing. His customer service was impeccable and he was attentive and even offered other ideas for food items I was inquiring about. Their service was FAST. The price for everything we ordered was great too! I highly recommend El Bracero Bar & Grill!

My boyfriend and I came to try this place out and it was a pleasant surprise that they had good margaritas! I had one on the rocks and it was 7, which was fair for the good taste. We had the Fajitas for 2, and omg. So much food. We now know that we can split a fajitas for 1 instead. The chips, salsa, and queso are awesome. I realized some people were saying that the tortillas are not handmade, but the corn tortillas are. And they are delicious. The flour tortillas do look store bought, but I suggest getting corn (they make them the same size as the flour tortillas). We did have to pay an additional .75 for an extra order of tortillas (which was 2 in each order), but we were okay with that (considering chips and salsa and queso are free). Our waitress was super sweet. We got the fajita mix and both chicken and beef were super good. The charro beans are not necessarily how I would make them, but the rice tasted great. The red salsa and the salsa that comes with the chips was amazing. Prices are fair as well, so we were super impressed and are excited to continue coming to try new things out! Highly recommend, especially when you’re craving a marg and some good chips and salsa!
Oh my goodness!!! Have tried several other taco places, but this one is way better than the rest. Highly recommend it!! The street tacos were superb!!!
The reviews didn't lie. Birria wasn't on the menu, so I asked. Birria tacos and pizza were second to none. This place gets it. The service was fun, and atmosphere was great... If you're in this part of town, definitely recommend stopping here.
We love coming here on a day we just don’t feel like cooking! It’s conveniently located down the street from us! Their margaritas are delicious and even better when they are on happy hour prices! I believe the happy hour is until 7pm every day now, I’m not sure what time is starts though... they always have daily dinner specials or lunch specials. On this day we chose the Chalupa platter for 5.99!! That’s a steal, if you see my picture, I got 3 chalupas and they were all a decent size. After having a margarita and a lot of chips and salsa I could barely fit 1 and a half in me! The salsa, that comes with the chips is very very good. Has the right amount of spice in it to get you scooping for more! And of course every time we come, we’re always treated well by a nice Spanish lady who for the life of me can’t remember her name, but she wears glasses and has her hair in a bun. I think she typically takes care of the booths to the right of the restaurant near the windows that face the street, so if she sees this, thank you for taking care of us! We’ll keep coming back as long as the restaurant takes good care of us and keeps the deals and happy hours in place! Thank you
I came here from Alabama, both food and my waitress were the absolute best. This burrito I had, amazing, the way the chicken melted in my mouth, and the taste, if you haven’t yet, you need to stop by. I need to go back, oh and PRICE?! That burrito and three beers? Less than I expected, what’re you waiting for? Pitter patter already!
Highly recommended! The quality of the food, the customer service, as well as the fast service all amazing. I'll definitely be back.
